A great, easy cauliflower side dish that pairs well with any protein. I’ve used smoked paprika, a favorite of mine, but feel free to add your favorite flavors. Enjoy!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 cups cauliflower florets

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. 2 Cut garlic in half and smash with the blade of a knife. Place in a bowl with oil, salt, and paprika. Add cauliflower and turn to coat.
  3. 3 Place the coated cauliflower in the bowl of the air fryer and cook to desired crispiness, shaking every 5 minutes, about 15 minutes total.

Chef's Notes

After 15 minutes, the cauliflower will still have some crunch; cook for an additional 5 minutes if you want it softer. The timing really depends on the size of the cauliflower, so check frequently.

  1. Great way to change up cauliflower. Only change I made was using coconut oil because that's what I had on hand. Absolutely delicious!
  2. I just got a new air fryer and had a head of cauliflower in the fridge so this was my first air fryer experience. I shook it a couple of times during cooking and when I checked at 15 minutes it was burned-beyond edible! I'm thinking this is way too long on the time. I'm - Read more ...
  3. I love cauliflower and in the air Fryer it was quick, easy and delicious. I substituted olive oil for the peanut oil as I didn't have any.
  4. I used this as a base to "stuffing" roasted with thyme and garlic and parsley and sage. Then returned to pan to finish with celery and onion.. served with roasted pork ribs and brussel sprouts with basalmic.. good meal:)
  5. Delicious! Watch carefully, as if you are using smaller florets they will be almost burnt crispy at 15 minutes. We loved this recipe and will use it frequently. Three cloves of garlic sounds like a lot, but it definitely not over-garlicky. Delicious!
  6. So happy to find a new way to make cauliflower. I am not a big fan of cauliflower and it's taste but have found that roasting it makes it a game changer when trying to eat healthy. Definitely a recipe that can be customized to what flavor of dish you want to serve along side. - Read more ...
  7. So delicious! I did add five minutes to the time as suggested in the Cook s Note. Maybe I ll use a bit less salt next time but we gobbled this up in no time!
  8. I used mild Chili Powder instead of Paprika. Flavor was amazing. Rest of recipe was the same.
  9. I have a similar recipe to this so I knew it wouldn't disappoint. My original recipe called for smoked paprika but it was pretty potent and I panicked and changed it up to regular paprika. I was tickled pink when I saw this recipe because it confirmed to me that great minds think alike. Smoked - Read more ...
