This guac is always a huge hit at parties and potlucks! I’ve gotten many requests for the recipe. It is so easy and delicious! You can use fresh cilantro instead of a big sploosh of cilantro paste, but the paste is easier and tastier.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 avocados - peeled, pitted, and diced
  • ½ cucumber, peeled and diced
  • ½ bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1 pomegranate, peeled and seeds separated
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro paste
  • salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Stir avocado, cucumber, green onions, pomegranate seeds, lime juice, and cilantro paste together in a bowl. Season with salt.

Chef's Notes

Cilantro paste comes in a tube near the herbs in the grocery store; This is also delicious on a tuna or grilled cheese sandwich.


  1. This is very good! I really liked the addition of the crunchy cucumber and sweet pomegranate. I did add some chopped tomatoes leftover from our taco dinner last night but that was my only change. I may even add some garlic next time just for another layer of flavor. Thanks for sharing.:)
