Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened flaked coconut
  • ½ cup water, or as needed

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Layer banana, blueberries, almond butter, coconut, and water in a blender; blend until smooth, adding more water for a thinner smoothie.

Any type of frozen berry can be used in place of the blueberries, if desired.

  4. Made this with vanilla soymilk instead of water - wonderful!
  5. I used unfrozen bananas so added some ice to make it colder. Also milk instead of water. A little sea salt vanilla and honey.
  6. This was delicious! I had fresh blueberries so I used those instead of frozen. I will make this again!
  7. I found the banana a bit overpowering. If I make this again I will use only half a frozen banana to balance out the blueberry flavoring.
