Recipe Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups candy-coated milk chocolate pieces

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. 2 Cream together butter or margarine, brown sugar, vanilla, and sugar until fluffy. Add 2 beaten eggs.
  3. 3 Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to cream mixture. Stir in candies.
  4. 4 Drop by teaspoon on baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.

  1. I made these as instructed and they turned out great. I did make sure the dough was cold before cooking to help with spreading but had no issues at all with them.
  2. Great recipe. Cookies won't turn out flat if you are careful to not melt the butter - just soften it.

  4. These cookies are fantastic! They were gone in no time. I cooked at 350 degrees and took them out as the edges were getting golden brown. The kids loved not only helping to make the cookies but also loved eating them! Thank you for a great recipe!
  5. These were a hit at the Pre-School Picnic! They are colorful and tasty! They also traveled well when packed in a cookie tin with the layers seperated by wax paper.

  8. Delicious! These cookies are nice and soft with lots of M&Ms. Everytime I make them someone wants the recipe.
  9. really really flat cookies that you have to watch carefully so not to burn them. real yummy if flat and dont forget to refrigerate and spray dough and sheet. had a heck of a time getting off the sheet.
