Crescent rolls filled with mozzarella cheese are brushed with an herb-butter mixture, topped with grated Parmesan cheese, and baked until golden brown.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated butter-flavored crescent rolls
  • ¾ cup shredded Stella® mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ⅓ teaspoon dried basil
  • ⅓ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Stella® Parmesan cheese, for topping

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Grease a large baking sheet and set aside.
  2. 2 Roll crescent rolls out, then divide and top Stella shredded mozzarella cheese among rolls. Gently roll crescents and place onto baking sheet.
  3. 3 Whisk together butter, dried basil and dried oregano together in a small bowl. Brush mixture onto crescent rolls and top with Stella Parmesan cheese.
  4. 4 Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

  1. They were good. Make sure you use shredded cheese because this melts better than string cheese. Also, if you want to take these to someone's house, you should only cook it half way and finish there. That way you are not reheating and drying out the roll. I made these for Easter dinner. Yum.
  2. I also added garlic and made 4 vs eight but dividing the dough into 4ths
  3. These were very good and easy to make!!!! I followed exactly and added 1/4tsp garlic powder with the herbs. Check at 8 minutes. My oven is accurate and they were a little more brown than I d like at 9.5 minutes. I will make these again soon!!
  4. I added garlic powder to the butter mix and used more cheese. We ate every single one at dinner tonight!
  5. This was very easy and taste great I did not use Stella cheeses because I could not find it at the grocery store it still taste great my husband and my friend who ate it love it. Thank you for a great easy recipe.
  6. I made these for thanksgiving because my husband wanted crescent rolls and I wanted to do something more interesting;) I added the 1/2 teaspoon garlic like the other reviewer mentioned.   7. this was great. this particular recipe only loses a star because garlic makes it complete. a half teaspoon of garlic powder in the butter mixture.
  8. I layered sliced deli ham onto the dough first tastes a whole lot better that way
