A fondue for cream cheese lovers! A dash of nutmeg and a splash of sherry make this fondue extra tasty.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Cook and stir cream cheese and milk in a saucepan over medium heat until cheese is almost melted, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in sherry, mustard, garlic, pepper, and nutmeg; continue to cook and stir over medium heat until cream cheese is completely melted, about 3 minutes.

  1. my kids are eating this with bread raw broccoli and carrots. it's kid friendly fondue!!! I could see this being good with some mushroom powder like porcini.
  2. I agree with the other reviewer. This lacked flavor and was very bland. It came together quick and melted nicely though so I think it has potential if you were to add some seasoning and even something for some heat.
  3. it was easy to make but very mild without a lot of flavor. I had lots of leftovers.
