A yummy spread that my dad makes every year for Passover.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 apples - peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup kosher red wine (such as Manischewitz®)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Stir the apples, walnuts, pecans, and wine together in a large bowl. Season with cinnamon, stir, and refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes.

  3. This is great and exactly like my "Mom's Best Haroset" just without the pecans. My mom has passed away 4 years ago and Passover has never been the same without her haroset. Thanks for the memory.
