The famously irresistible duo — peanut butter and chocolate — come together in this rich and creamy pie.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
  • 1 prepared chocolate pie crust
  • 1 (11.75 ounce) jar Smucker's® Hot Fudge Microwaveable Ice Cream Topping, divided
  • 2 tablespoons Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Beat together 1 cup peanut butter, cream cheese and sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium, until well combined. Gently mix in 3 cups whipped topping until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture into pie shell. Using a spatula, smooth mixture to edges of pie.
  2. 2 Reserve 2 tablespoons of hot fudge topping into the corner of a resealable plastic bag. Microwave remaining topping, on HIGH (100% topping), for 1 minute. Stir. Spread topping over pie, covering entire peanut butter layer. Refrigerate until set. Spread remaining whipped topping (1 1/2 cups), over hot fudge layer, being careful not to mix the two layers.
  3. 3 Cut a small corner from bag containing topping. Squeeze bag to drizzle topping over pie. Place remaining 2 tablespoons peanut butter in a resealable food storage bag; cut bag corner and squeeze to drizzle in opposite direction from topping. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  1. I changed this up just a bit. My whipped topping container was kind of small so I just used the whole shebang in with the peanut butter/cream cheese layer. I then spread the hot fudge topping over the top and sprinkled with chopped peanuts. I made my own chocolate wafer crust. Really awesome pie and - Read more ...

  3. This pie deserves more than five stars. My boyfriend and I found the recipe on a coupon or something at the store last summer and immediately bought all the ingredients and made it that night. It is the best! We make it several times per year. We always used to order peanut butter pie for - Read more ...
  4. Way too rich but otherwise restaurant quality (better than Baker's Square PB cup pie!). I used fat free cream cheese & whipped topping to cut back on unnecessary fat. I also used Smucker's special recipe dark chocolate topping instead of hot fudge because it has less fat. I had a 1/16th slice and had trouble - Read more ...
  5. I've never been a big peanut butter girl but I chose this to make for an office Christmas party. I had to make a "test pie" before I would serve it to other people and it was delicious! I made the second pie for the office and when I brought it in the next day - Read more ...
  6. I HATED this recipe.. I found it and was very excite dto make- But it was more like PB cheesecake then a cream pie and much too heavy.. I followed the recipe to the letter but thought it was going to have more a PB mousse texture then it did..
  7. Made this pie for Thanksgiving this year and it was a big hit with both my husband, who doesn't like pie, and my daughter, who said that this pie is one of two pies she likes, the other is apple. It is very easy to make. I did add peanut butter cups that I put - Read more ...

  9. Very good dessert! For some reason, I expected it to be lighter, though. I didn't end up adding all the whip cream on top, because it seemed like too much, but next time I would definitely add it all. Thanks for a great recipe!
