Yummy chicken wings made from a Memphis-style dry rub.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • ½ tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 chicken wings, or more as needed

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. 2 Whisk together brown sugar, paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, mustard powder, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss in chicken wings and rub the seasonings into them with your hands until fully coated.
  3. 3 Arrange wings in the basket of the preheated air fryer, standing up on their ends and leaning against each other and the wall of the basket.
  4. 4 Cook until wings are tender inside and golden brown and crisp on the outside, about 35 minutes. Transfer wings to a plate and serve hot.

  1. Love it! Came out delicious.
  2. Rub was excellent
  3. So good! It was the first thing I made in my new fryer and they turned out perfect. Will maybe add a touch of cayenne pepper in my next batch for a little heat.
  4. Great recipe — easy to follow and pretty straight-forward. The wings turned out great and had a fabulous lunch
  5. Super easy...very flavorful. Will definitely do it again. Only slight modification was that I left out brown sugar since I’m trying to reduce sugar. Still fantastic.
  6. delicious
  7. Quick and easy.
  8. Followed directions, very yummy and the hint of the brown sugar gives it a lil sweetness that is sooo good.
  9. This was so yummy! Followed the recipe exactly except I used sage and thyme in place of poultry seasoning since I didn’t have any. I would add a pic but I ate it too fast!
