A family favorite–in fact my teenage daughter’s girlfriend always finagles a visit when I plan to make this for dinner. Goes great with a salad and homemade bread! Enjoy!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 pound seashell pasta
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food, shredded

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Cook macaroni according to package directions, shortening recommended cooking time by 2 to 3 minutes as macaroni will continue to bake later in oven. Drain.
  2. 2 Mix cooked macaroni and tomato sauce in large glass ovenproof dish. Stir in 3/4 of the shredded cheese. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 of the cheese on top.
  3. 3 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes.

Just a hint of tomato in the background. However because I also added ground beef onions and mushrooms I had to - Read more ...
  4. I added spices to the tomato sauce--oregano dried onion garlic basil and pepper. I also used shredded mozzarella cheese. Very simple but very delicious.
  5. add some ground beef and mushrooms to this recipe and its slammin'
  6. Instead of using the sprinked cheese I used american cheese slices. My husband loves the edges of crusted mac and cheese! Also...this was done in about 14 minutes.
  7. Yuck! Maybe it's just us... but we didn't like it very much!
  8. This is a must try!! My family loves it!! Especially my kids! It is easy and very very good.... Thanks Sue!!!
