This is a quick flavorful recipe for an interesting seasonal barbecue sauce. Use the chipotle peach brisket.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 7 ½ cups ketchup
  • 2 ½ cups molasses
  • 2 ½ cups peach preserves
  • ⅓ cup cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 2 ½ teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 4 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Mix ketchup, molasses, peach preserves, vinegar, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, liquid smoke flavoring, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper together in a bowl; store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.

Chef's Notes

If you wish, you can mix all the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
This is a great sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. It goes really well with pork and chicken. I hope you give this one a try.
