Eser’s great balsamic salad dressing. Store leftover dressing in a shakable sealed container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • ⅓ cup olive oil, or more as needed

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Combine balsamic vinegar, honey, mustard, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a food processor. Turn the food processor on; pour olive oil in a steady stream into balsamic vinegar mixture until salad dressing is thick and creamy.

  2. I have made this so many times! prefer white balsamic. I also use maple syrup in place of the honey. Basil is also a great addition. I just dump everything into a bowl using a stick blender to emulsify.
  3. This was ok. I took the suggestion of some previous reviewers and halved the oregano. Next time I will use the full amount, but halve the dijon mustard.

  5. This was a little stronger and darker than the picture looks but really good. Put it over roasted veggies.
  6. made it as written. Usually I modify recipies. This is spot on! Blended it in a bullet blender. Make sure to chop the garlic first. Topped salad with feta and olives-made with lemon greek chicken-great together!

  9. Very good! I used honey ginger white balsamic vinegar and tarragon Dijon mustard. Tastes fantastic!
