Broccoli is roasted with garlic and olive oil, then tossed with lemon juice and shaved parmesan cheese.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Dietz & Watson Shaved Parmesan Cheese

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. 2 Wash the broccoli and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Place the broccoli on a large rimmed baking sheet.
  3. 3 Mince the garlic and toss it in with the broccoli.
  4. 4 Drizzle 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil over the broccoli, then season with coarse black pepper and kosher salt.
  5. 5 Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  6. 6 Toss in lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and 1 tablespoon olive oil; serve immediately.

  2. This a great recipe if you like all the ingredients. I added 10cloves of garlic with 2 heads of broccoli. I especially liked it cold raw and marinating in the olive oil and garlic salt.

  5. My new favorite go to veggie recipe. Tonight I added cauliflower to the broccoli and it worked just as well. My 10 year old son has seconds of this every time I make it.

  9. I thought it was just okay. I will probably make again but without the lemon juice. I found it to be pretty tart and odd with the cheese. I did test the broccoli before adding the lemon juice and thought it was very good!
  10. So yummy! Wish I would have cooked more. I added asparagus in with the broccoli. I did end up pulling them out of the oven at 15 min but I had chopped them up pretty small to begin with. Will definitely make this again, even my 8 yr old daughter loved them.
