My husband’s Grandma Z made this every year at Christmas for as long as I can remember. Now, we make it every year and make a delicious toast to her. Serve over ice. Cheers, Grandma Z!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup whiskey (such as Seagram's®)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ tablespoons chocolate syrup (such as Hershey's®)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon coconut extract

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Blend condensed milk, heavy cream, whiskey, eggs, chocolate syrup, vanilla extract, and coconut extract together in a blender on medium-high for 2 minutes.
  2. 2 Pour mixture into a dark glass bottle and refrigerate for 2 days to allow flavors to blend.

Chef's Notes

Brandy can be substituted for the whiskey; If your blender doesn't fit all of the ingredients at once, whisk them together in a large bowl first, then blend in 2 batches before pouring into bottle; This recipe contains raw egg. We recommend that pregnant women, young children, the elderly, and the infirm do not consume raw egg. Learn more about egg safety from our article, Making Your Eggs Safe.

  1. We made this, but it turned out bland and watery.
  2. Made as written except that I left out the coconut due to personal preference. I made it for the hubs to use in his coffee and he gave it two thumbs up!
