Capers, lemon, and lime bring their bright flavors to these grilled mahi mahi fillets.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 6 (6 ounce) mahi mahi fillets (or other firm white fish)
  • 2 tablespoons Crisco® Pure Olive Oil
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar Crosse & Blackwell® Capers, rinsed and drained
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 6 cups mixed salad greens

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Place fish in a shallow dish and rub with olive oil, lime juice and salt and pepper. Cover and leave at room temperature 2 hours.
  2. 2 Heat grill to medium-high. Grill fish 4 minutes on each side. Combine mayonnaise, capers and lemon juice. Serve fish on bed of mixed greens and top with mayonnaise mixture.

  3. I added extra lime juice to the marinade as well as some old bay seasoning. Also included scallions in the mayo sauce along with seasoning salt. Served this with steamed bok choy
  4. The marinated fish was excellent. I just marinated the fish and oven baked it at 350 for about 20-25 minutes in a glass casserole (I did not wrap it in foil). Mom and kids liked the sauce I was OK with it. I used cod.

  9. Absolutely fantastic and easy to follow recipe. I used flash frozen mahi mahi from Costco an did not use the Blackwell brand capers. I added a sprinkle of cayenne pepper along with the salt and pepper. I could not have enjoyed this dish any more and it was a hit with everyone else too.
