Instant Pot® pork chops. Serve with potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 4 (6 ounce) bone-in center-cut pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®) and select Saute function. Add butter and bacon; saute until bacon is cooked but not quite crispy, about 5 minutes. Add pork chops and sear for about 1 minute on each side. Gently stir in honey, soy sauce, and garlic.
  2. 2 Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 10 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
  3. 3 Release pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Transfer pork chops to a plate and switch back to Saute function.
  4. 4 Whisk cold water and cornstarch together in a small bowl; pour into the pot. Cook and stir until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Pour sauce over pork chops.

  1. This was too salty due to the soy sauce. Don't make again
  2. Very good recipe! So tender and tasty. My personal preference would be to use a little less honey next time. Perfect cook time.
  3. Followed the recipe exactly, except used a couple extra pieces of bacon. My husband and I loved it. Served it over rice with steamed sugar snap peas on the side. It is very quick and easy.
  4. Super delicious meal. Very few ingredients and pairs well with rice to soak up the extra delicious sauce.
  5. Sooooo Tasty. I made it as written with 2 1” pork chops. May cook it one minuet more next time for more tenderness. I love that it was so easy with few ingredients. We will be making this again; thank you for this great recipe
  6. This is Excellent! I've made this many times and it's my husband's favorite. Small changes I've made are.. I cook the pork chops for only 9 min. They are done and are more tender then when cooked at 10 min. I generally add 3-4 strips of bacon and when thickening the sauce, I add 1/2 - Read more ...
