Chef's Notes

Store these cookies in a cool place (like the back of your refrigerator) if you don't intend to eat them right away; It's important to let the sugar mixture boil for a little bit because otherwise the cookies can be quite "mushy" even upon refrigeration.

  2. I left out coconut
  3. Easy & delicious!! Perfect for a chocolate snack craving!! Hubby couldn t stop eating them!! Lol
  4. Simple to make and oh so good!
  5. Very easy to put together. Tasty. Just what I needed for a quick sweet fix!
  6. No coconut I have been making these for years. My mom made them 40 years ago. My brothers all make them for their families. All of us love them without coconut.
