  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup canned pears, sliced

The following are the steps to cook Pear-a-dise Muffins easily:

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Butter 15 muffin cups, or line with paper liner cups.
  2. 2 Mix together flours, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir pears lightly into dry ingredients.
  3. 3 In a large bowl, combine yogurt, oil, honey, and egg. Mix in flour mixture until just combined. Spoon into muffin cups.
  4. 4 Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until done.

    Replaced pears with 2 cups blueberries--didn't use nutmeg or cinnamon. Added half a cup brown sugar and 1 tbsp vanilla to liquid mixture. Good!
