Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Combine the garbanzo beans, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, water, salt, pepper, and cumin in a blender or food processor, blend until smooth.

  6. Not exactly the hummus I was looking for but a darned good recipe! It was a little watery though. I will not add water the next time. Really fast and easy recipe to take with you on the go!
  7. I made it exactly to recipe and it was pretty good but I like a bit more garlic and lemon so I ended up adding some after tasting. I think I had five garlic cloves in the finished product and it was fantastic. It's very easy to make.
