This simple mango dessert is so easy to make yet extremely smooth and tasty.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages powdered gelatin (such as Knox®)
  • 26 ounces canned mango pulp
  • 1 ½ cups evaporated milk
  • 1 cup cold water

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Combine hot water, sugar, and powdered gelatin in a small bowl; stir until sugar and gelatin are dissolved.
  2. 2 Mix mango pulp, evaporated milk, and cold water together in a large bowl. Pour in hot water mixture and stir well.
  3. 3 Refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours.

  1. I didn't make it yet but I had to rate it before I could comment. Could the sugar amount be cut, possibly by half?
  2. i made lots adjustments-n added 8 oz coconut cream instead of eval milk and water
  3. I made a similar recipe but instead of evaporated milk the recipe calls for heavy whipping cream. I prefer that one over this one since it is creamier.
