A hot cup of white cocoa with a spiced chai twist is the perfect warm-up after hours in the snow. Start the slow cooker when everyone heads out to play, and it’ll be ready when you return. Add a splash of brandy for the grown-ups. Top servings with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 cups half-and-half
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate baking pieces
  • 6 (2 g) bags chai tea bag
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 ½ fluid ounces brandy

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Stir milk, half-and-half, and white chocolate together in a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low, 4 to 5 hours or on High, 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring once halfway through.
  2. 2 Add chai tea bags to the slow cooker. Let steep, covered, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in vanilla extract. Add 3/4 ounce brandy to each serving.
