A sweet sauce, primarily used to cover fried octopus or use as a dip for octopus dumplings. If it is too sweet for your taste, reduce the amount of honey.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup

Cooking Directions

  1. I added Sriracha to taste but even still it was way too sweet. I'll definitely reduce the honey next time. Octopus is not readily available in my area so I made this for fried calamari instead. Same family, right? This sauce has potential with a couple of tweaks.
