Warm peaches topped with vanilla wafer crumbs, and baked in dreamy sugar and cinnamon mixture. A quick and easy favorite dessert!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can peach halves, drained
  • 10 vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Preheat oven on broiler setting.
  2. 2 Place peaches hollow side up in a pie pan. In a medium bowl, mix together crushed vanilla wafers, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches.
  3. 3 Place under broiler, and cook until sugar is melted and bubbly, about 1 minute.

  6. Simple and delicious. I took the recommendation of previous reviewers and used fresh peaches, slicing them instead halving them, and also doubled the topping. I found it served 4 people instead 6.
  7. This recipe is so fast easy I thought it was too good to be true, but it really is wonderful. It reminds me of peach cobbler. The vanilla wafers make the topping so light and crunchy. I doubled the crust mixture and was happy I did. A great light dessert! Thanks!
