A healthy, easy summer dessert with a new fresh taste that will keep you coming back for more! You can serve this salad right away, although refrigeration heightens the flavors and crisps the fruit.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 4 cups coarsely chopped seedless watermelon
  • 4 cups seedless red grapes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons grated lime zest

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Combine watermelon and red grapes in a bowl. Sprinkle lemon zest and lime zest over fruit and toss lightly. Cover bowl and refrigerate, about 1 hour.

  1. So good! So fast and easy to make! I like that adding the zest enhances the fruit without overpowering it. I used black grapes and left them whole. I also served it in small glasses which makes it seem "fancier" lol. This is a great addition to any BBQ or summer party!
  2. I added blueberries. Used green grapes instead of red and added fresh basil from my garden. A wonderful summer salad!

  6. What a bright and refreshing salad. Used green grapes instead of red (think that gives the salad a little more eye appeal), and I did add just a little squeeze of both the lemon and lime which only heightened the citrus flavor.
