Super fun and unusual treat for cookouts!

Recipe Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • ¼ cup vodka
  • ½ cup coffee-flavored liqueur (such as Kahlua®)
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Beat milk and pudding mix together in a bowl using an electric mixer until pudding is thickened. Stir vodka and coffee-flavored liqueur into pudding; fold in whipped topping. Pipe or spoon pudding mixture into shot glasses. Freeze until ready to serve.

Chef's Notes

I love making pudding shots in miniature ice cream cones to take to cookouts. I line a disposable pan with about 1/4-full of rice, place my miniature cones in the rice, so the rice supports them and they won't tip over while transporting. Then I take a plastic storage bag, roll it down about halfway, fill it with my pudding mixture, roll it back up, squeeze the pudding to one corner and then cut the corner off. This makes a quick and easy way to fill the cones.

  2. I love this recipe! I keep it light and dairy-free by using almond milk, Cool Whip light, and sugar-free pudding. Also I like to mix up the alcohol. I get creative and have a blast!
