Bubbly and refreshing. This is great to make for picnics, outdoor parties, or brunch.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle Chardonnay wine
  • 1 liter club soda
  • 3 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced
  • ice cubes
  • 8 sprigs mint

Cooking Directions

  1. 1 Mix Chardonnay wine, club soda, orange-flavored liqueur, sugar, grapes, kiwis, and pear in a large pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour wine mixture into wine glasses filled with ice, making sure each glass has some fruit. Garnish with mint sprigs.

  2. This sangria is very light refreshing and delicious. I especially like that unlike many other sangria recipes it doesn''t include brandy which in my opinion weights it down and takes away from the lovely fruitiness. But that is our personal preference. A very versatile and adaptable recipe.
  3. instead of diluting your drink with ice cubes....i froze the green grapes and used them. this is an easy and awesome summer time drink and refreshing.

  5. Adding 1/2 cup of brandy scant 3 tablespoons but I also added the 3 tablespoons of Grand Marnier. Fruit I added was peaches kiwi pears cantaloupe and cherries.   6. I liked this but was looking for a little more of the orange liqueur flavor so I did bump up the Gran Marnier a little.
